The River & my 25th birthday

Here we go with some photos taken, uhm, last year?! (Flickr says they were taken on the 1st of December 2012 hehe)
Sorry for being such a bad blogger but life gets in the way and as you know (or don't know) this month was packed full for me: I took the last three exams and started my thesis about eBooks and their role for novelists and scholars. So you can imagine my level of stress and business! I wanted to post these photos anyways because I think they are amazing. I guess these could be considered the last photos I'll ever take onto this bridge, because when we went there there was a sign (pictured below) that warned everybody that it was forbidden to go past it. Of course we did, and no sign could stop me, but this means that they're going to pull it down, and this is so sad.
Moreno and I have such sweet memories about this bridge! One of our first "dates" started here. There's a funny story about this...lol.
I told him that we could meet on the bridge of Sagrado, a town nearby our hometown. The problem is, there are two different bridges that link our hometown to Sagrado! They are parallel to one another and one of them is still used for cars and passersby while the other (the one that you can see in these pics) is obviously not used anymore. I don't think it was used ever. It was supposed to be part of a railroad track that was never completed and that would have linked Trieste to Udine, I guess.
So Moreno thought I was referring to the "new" bridge, the one that's still used, and waited there for a long time while I was waiting for him on the other bridge! We eventually wrote some text messages to each other so we cleared up this misunderstanding, but in the meanwhile we wasted so much time of one of our first dates waiting for one another! Hehe :)

Aso, three days ago it was my birthday. I'm 25 now, could you tell?! Gosh time passes so quickly...I made a vlog about this, hope you like it! Excuse my Italian accent and the few mistakes I made.
P.s.: for those interested, I also made a similar vlog in Italian (no English subtitles sorry) and you can see it here.

The story about you and Moreno is super adorable, like picked out of a movie.
